hey, pretty smart solution, can you possibly explain in a little more detail (jpeg?) what part you need to cut off? By fourth gear, you mean the 4th position of the light switch? And this is already present and wired if the mechanical „limiter“ is removed?

you just remove the red marked „fin“, and that’s it? Can I just pull off the turning knob, w/o removing the complete switch from the steering column?

You need to remove the switch and 2 screws. Be careful, no problem

good enough anyway?. Cutting is only required in the top knob, not further down in the turning part? As per your 4th picture?
